Overview
FCM Client is an independent developer tool for sending test messages through the Firebase Cloud Messaging HTTP v1 API using credentials that you supply. It is intended as an operational/testing utility for developers who already own the Firebase projects they connect to.
This policy explains what data the app does and does not handle. In short: the app is designed so that your sensitive data stays on your device, and the developer never receives it.
Your Credentials & Data
Your Firebase service account credentials are stored encrypted on your device only. They are never uploaded to, collected by, or transmitted to the developer or any third-party server.
Messages you compose — along with any drafts, history, templates, and scheduled sends — are stored locally on your device and are sent directly from your device to Google's Firebase endpoints. They do not pass through any server operated by the developer.
- Service account JSON — stored encrypted in the app's private storage, used only to authenticate your send requests.
- Drafts, history & templates — stored in a local on-device database.
- Scheduled messages — held on-device and dispatched by your device at the scheduled time.
Information We Do Not Collect
The app does not collect personal data or analytics. There is no account sign-up, no tracking of your identity, and no transmission of your message content or credentials to the developer.
Advertising
The app may display ads to support development. Ad behavior is controlled remotely and can be disabled at any time — the app remains fully functional without ads.
If ads are enabled, the Google AdMob SDK may collect data in accordance with Google's policies. Please review the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services for details.
Your Control & Data Deletion
Because all credentials and message data stay on your device, deleting the app removes them. You can also remove individual projects, drafts, history entries, templates, and scheduled messages from within the app at any time.
You are responsible for the Firebase projects and credentials you use with this tool.
